Luminous Wallpapers—For Jackson, 1999
Video Installation (occupies approximately 12.2 running meters), 3-channel video, 7 minute cycle, Betacam SP. Three copper-toned photo murals (2.4 meters by 6 meters), three photo etched inked copper plates (.6 meters X .9 meters), each embedded with two 5 cm monitors; three wooden shelves to hold the copper plates; three sets of audio speakers; three VHS players, and a switcher to run the installation.

The installation combines documentary-based portraits in photography, video and photo etching of two women – Rosemary Brown and Ruth Sujir. The portraits are constructed with fragments of memory and documents, moving across generations, to explore culture, history, and memory.
